Killer Of Elderly Northwest Baltimore Man Still On The Loose
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- It was one year ago when an elderly Northwest Baltimore man was brutally murdered in his own house. The killer is still on the loose, and his family is hoping someone will finally come forward.

Family and friends light candles in remembrance of Sterling Palmer, 78, outside his home on Edison Highway where he was killed one year ago.
"He'd do anything for anybody and I just loved him," Sterling Palmer's wife Evelyn Palmer said.
Evelyn, his wife of 50 years, found him.
On Oct. 8, 2010, she had just come home from the grocery store to find Sterling Palmer in the basement, stabbed multiple times.
"Though we had some promising leads early on in the investigation, nothing panned out," Det. Kevin Brown of the Baltimore Police Department said.
Sterling Palmer's family says their grief only grows with each day that passes without the killer behind bars.
"The closure that we need should have been done before now," Evelyn Palmer said.
"He was just living his life in his own home, minding his own business and someone comes along and acted like a savage," said Michelle Queen, Sterling Palmer's daughter.
The family is now offering a $4,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
"Some person that was mad took their anger out on my husband and they have to pay for it," Evelyn Palmer said.
Police never confirmed this was a robbery, but Sterling Palmer's money was taken. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
