ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — A lawyer for a U.S. man detained in Aruba in the presumed death of his travel companion has filed an appeal for his release.

Aruban attorney Michael Lopez says he asked a court to immediately release Gary Giordano. Lopez said in a statement Tuesday he asked for the court to at least free his client pending any trial.

Giordano is being held on suspicion of involvement in the presumed death of Robyn Gardner, 35, of Frederick, Md. Her body has not been found. Giordano denies wrongdoing and says Gardner was swept out to sea while snorkeling. A judge last month rejected a previous appeal of his detention order. Prosecutors plan to seek to extend the order when it expires later this month.

CBS, I love your site and have commented many times on your sites and on sites like these and I have always appreciated the smart-discussions your site offers. Right now, I have two different trolls ruining blog-sites by creating false-comments and attacking other sensible-bloggers like myself in their attempt to over-throw the blog-topic. The names they are going by today on WordPress are “John” who is a she and an identity thief, and “Janel” who stole my name several months ago. Troll-Trackers reports that 94% of confirmed-trolls on WordPress use only a single name with less than five digits to minimize their “tractability” by viewers. I love your sites and simply do not want to see them disrupted by their trolling. They are being tracked currently by a professional organization as well as one of the two is being monitored by the authorities for further possible criminal actions. What they do is to Google my name (JanCorey) and see where I have placed comments, then “they” John blasts the site with his rants. Fortunately, I am told, John happened to violate the criminal code and the prosecution is now conducting an investigation of John and charges will be coming against “John” soon I am told. While that’s a relief, it still remains that “John/michellefrommadison/Janal/Jyson, ect, ect” will continue their rants until “John” is formally sanctioned or imprisoned by the Courts. When you see “his” comments, you’ll know in a second which post is “his” and which are from legitimist guest-cementers to your site. John is now actually being monitored be an national organization who intervenes on the type of internet bullying and they report they are also monitoring “John” which also alleviates some of the stress caused by trolls like John. They are suggesting a dollar amount in sanctions against “John” that could really allow me to retire quite comfortably, but I would only use that money to donate to other organizations that fight bullying and abuse. Most people are not aware of what internet-bullying actually is and that most states now have consequences in-place for violators like John?Janal/Jyson/ect. Praise the Lord!

I believe they will let hin go since there is no real evidence against him.
Troll-Trackers indicated on pages 428-456 that the actions currently from this troll is to solicit the troll’s internet-troll-buddies to help to “back-up” false allegations made toward people on the web they are jealous of. Which, point-made, keeps occurring with John/Jyson,Janel/ect. Proof positive and admissible in Court in every state in the Union. Perhaps it may be time to pardon all the incarcerated individuals around the country and free up some room for this small band of internet thieves who harass, destroy existing bog-sites while commencing their rants. And the purpose for their disruption? Only part of their life that gives them any sense of empowerment sitting on a keyboard all day and night long with no accountability. The state’s Laws are slowly changing for the better for victims like myself. What was legal two-years ago may not be legal today, and that will be the demise of our poor troll-fiend John. Don’t despair other victims of their criminal acts, I am only one of hundreds, there will be a cell awaiting them.

Charge him or release him but don’t trample on his basic human civil rights. Aruban officials couldn’t find a million dollars if it was in the middle of town, they are that inept.
The Hollaway case was a prime example.

Thank you for some other magnificent article. The place else may anybody get that type of information in such a perfect manner of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I’m at the look for such information.
