Storms And Lower Temperatures Expected Later This Week

What a fantastic fall weekend!

After topping out near 70 degrees with sunshine yesterday, we did it again today. However, there are some changes coming our way in the form of two different storms.

The first storm does not have much to it. It will drag clouds across the state tonight and tomorrow, while kicking up the breeze a bit. There is the chance for a shower in western Maryland, but the front looks pretty dry for the rest of us. This is also a fast-moving front and will be out of here later tomorrow. Then, a much wetter storm moves our way for the middle of the week.

The second storm will come up from the south later Tuesday. The clouds will start to thicken up during the day Tuesday, with a little rain possible late. The more solid rain will spread across the state Tuesday night and Wednesday. It may even be heavy at times. Although this storm will get out of here Thursday, the unsettled atmosphere will linger. There will still be a lot of clouds and spotty showers or rain. And a lot of you will like this one, we will start to see some improvement as we move into the weekend.

Temperatures will still be close to 70 degrees both Monday and Tuesday before the cooler air arrives. We will only top out in the 60s (close to our average of 67 degrees) Wednesday and then stay below average in the upper 50s/near 60 Thursday and Friday. Overnight lows will also get way down there during the second half of the week. Some parts will drop to the 30s Friday morning.

Have a great week everyone!
