BLOG: 60s Next 2 Days; Cool Air And Storms Later This Week

Up and down we go. Warmer air is moving our way for a few days before another round of cool air arrives late in the week.

It was a chilly start to the day. We dropped to 38 degrees at BWI-Marshall with some places getting a little frost this morning. The sunshine helped to warm us up to 65 degrees this afternoon, which is exactly our average for this time of year. We are going above average tomorrow afternoon as a weak front passes north of us. It will drag some clouds through and just the slightest chance of a shower before it quickly leaves for tomorrow night. That front will not have effect on the temperatures because we are going right back to the upper 60s again with more sunshine on Tuesday. The warmer air will stick around into Wednesday before another storm, a bigger one with more moisture, moves our way.

Clouds will take over Wednesday and we may even get a little rain. But there's a better chance for rain Wednesday night and Thursday as a new storm slowly drags over the state. This storm will get out of here on Friday, with a bunch of clouds lingering. The next round of cool air lies behind this storm. Highs on Thursday will probably manage to get into the 60s but we will only be in the upper 50s/near 60 heading into the weekend once again.

Have a great work/school week everyone!
