BALTIMORE (AP) — A Baltimore woman has won an apartment in Chicago courtesy of HGTV.
Deborah Robertson learned Monday that she won the 2011 HGTV Urban Oasis contest. The prize: a furnished one-bedroom apartment on the 35th floor of the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago. HGTV says the prize is worth more than $750,0000.
Robertson said she never expected to win, though she entered the online contest twice a day, seven days a week during the sweepstakes. The 57-year-old’s name was chosen from nearly 14 million entries.
Robertson, who works for the Social Security Administration, says she’s never been to Chicago. HGTV plans to fly her there for a tour of her new place in November.
