MIDLAND, Md. (AP) — The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says a Midland woman has died from injuries she suffered in a house fire that killed her husband.

The agency says Kathleen Wilson, 59, died Wednesday night, about 13 hours after firefighters found her unconscious in the second-floor bedroom of the couple’s home.

Deputy State Fire Marshal Bruce Bouch says Joseph Wilson, 59, perished in the blaze.

The agency says the fire originated on the first floor of the home. The cause hasn’t been determined.
