Victim Identified In Fatal Hit-And-Run

BOWIE, Md. (WJZ) — Investigators with the Maryland State Police are continuing their investigation into the deadly hit- and-run collision which occurred early Sunday morning in the northbound lanes of Maryland Route 3 just south of Route 450 in Prince George’s County.

The victim has been identified as Sandy Beltran, 23, of Los Angeles, Calif. who had recently moved to Maryland.  Beltran was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel following the Sunday morning crash.

The Maryland State Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, seen suspicious activity near the scene of the crash or may have information regarding the collision to contact 1-800-492-TIPS (8477) or the College Park Barracks at (301) 345-3101.
