Baltimore County To Offer Free Holiday Parking

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Officials say Baltimore County will be offering free metered parking over the holidays this year.

The Baltimore Sun reports that people can get two hours of free parking every day from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27. They will also be able to park for free the week before Christmas, from Dec. 18 through Dec. 24.

The move is meant to encourage people to shop locally for the holidays and support Baltimore County's restaurants.
