CAMBRIDGE, Md. (AP) — Dorchester County authorities are investigating the death of a Cambridge man whose body was found pinned to a tractor by a fallen tree.

The county sheriff’s office says deputies found Carl Edward Jackson Sr., 68, in a wooded area on Travelers Rest Road on Monday.

According to WBOC-TV, officials say Jackson had driven to the property and had taken a tractor and Bush Hog mower with him to cut undergrowth. The sheriff’s office was called to the area after Jackson failed to return home at dark.

Jackson’s body has been taken to the medical examiner’s office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
