Lardarius Webb: I Don't Want To Be Sidelined

The large black boot on Lardarius Webb's left foot could not hide the fact that the cornerback is suffering from a significant foot injury that could sideline him for Sunday's game against the Chargers in San Diego. Webb, who hasn't missed a game since he was out with an ACL tear his rookie year, said he absolutely does not want to miss a game and it would be devastating for him to watch from the sidelines.

"I'm feeling soreness," Webb said at the Ravens Owings Mills facility on Wednesday. "It's going to hurt me."

Webb said he may have had a small case of "turf toe" from his college days but nothing compared to what he's currently experiencing. When I asked him if he's concerned given the fact Ben Grubbs and Ray Lewis have missed significant time with the same injury, he responded, "Yeah... I can see that. I try not to think about it though."

Guess we'll see on Sunday if No. 21 is suited up or not.
