83-Year-Old Pedestrian Hit & Killed In Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ)-- An 83-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Dundalk on Saturday.

The Baltimore County Police Department has identified the victim as Elisie Laura Green. The incident happened at 5 p.m. on Dundalk and Baltimore Avenues. Police say Green was crossing Dundalk Avenue from the west curb to the east curb when she was struck by a gold-colored, 1999 Saturn that was traveling northbound on Dundalk Avenue.

She was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Baltimore County Police say the driver of the Saturn remained at the crash scene.

The police department's crash team is investigating the incident.
