Baltimore Reminds Residents To Recycle Trees

BALTIMORE (AP) -- As the Christmas season winds down, the Department of Public Works is reminding Baltimore residents to recycle gift wrapping paper and Christmas trees.

Residents can take trees to the Reedbird Avenue Citizen Drop-off Center throughout the month of January and they can bring their own containers to collect mulch for their own use. Anyone who can't drop off trees can set out trees on their regularly scheduled trash collection day during January with all tinsel and ornaments removed.

Residents are reminded that they can recycle gift wrapping paper, cardboard packaging, boxes, holiday cards and envelopes.
