Metro To Run Extra Trains For Weekend Getaway

WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro will be running extra afternoon trains to help commuters leaving work early in advance of the long holiday weekend.

Metro says it will add additional trains on Friday afternoon to accommodate customers.

Metro will be open its normal hours on Saturday, New Year’s Eve, and on Sunday, New Year’s Day.

Saturday’s hours are 7 a.m. to 3 a.m., and Sunday’s hours are 7 a.m. to midnight.
