Ravens Fans Pumped Up For Playoffs

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Ravens are getting ready for a playoff game at M&T Bank Stadium---and so are their fans.

Jessica Kartalija talks to excited fans.

A few thousand tickets for the playoff game at M&T Bank Stadium will be available to the public Tuesday at 10 a.m. They can be purchased on Ticketmaster or on baltimoreravens.com but will not be sold at the box office.

At the Sport Shop in Towson, 7-year-old Camryn Faulkner is on a mission.

"I wanted to get a Ray Lewis shirt, a jersey of Ray Lewis," Faulkner said.

She's not alone. Stores are packed with fans stocking up on playoff gear.

"We've got Ravens socks, hats, scarves," said Vernon Tuck, the Sport Shop. "Whatever you need, we have it!"

In Dundalk, thousands of playoff tees are hot off the press.

"We had people lining up to get the shirts this morning, first thing this morning," said Craig Pfeiffer, owner of Maryland Screen Printers.

Sunday, the Ravens clinched the AFC North title with a victory over the Bengals.

On WJZ-FM 105.7 The Fan, all the talk is on the home field advantage.

"It's just all about Ray and just all about the Ravens this year. I think they're going to do it," said one fan.

"Denfese wins Super Bowls and championships," said another.

According to the experts, the Ravens are Super Bowl bound.

"They have a good chance, a very good chance. They are a great team. They are in the playoffs. They have a great record, too," said Jacob Mull and Lucas Schnee.

The Ravens will play either Houston, Denver or the Pittsburgh Steelers on Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. You can watch that game on WJZ.
