ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland Republican Party Chairman Alex Mooney has named local coordinators for his exploratory campaign for the state’s 6th Congressional District seat.

Mooney announced coordinators for Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick and Montgomery counties.

Delegate Neil Parrott, R-Washington, will lead that county’s campaign for the former state senator. Delegate Michael Hough, R-Frederick, will lead the Frederick County campaign.

Mac Raymond, a small businessman, will lead his campaign efforts in Garrett County. Attorney Jason Buckel will lead the Allegany campaign.

Mooney announced that Sastry Dhara and Martha Schaerr will lead his campaign in Montgomery County. Dhara is a small businessman and chairman of the Maryland GOP Asian American Coalition. Dhara and Schaerr are members of the Montgomery County Republican Central Committee.
