Baltimore Police Investigate 2 Shootings

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police are investigating two weekend shootings.

Baltimore police were called to the 2400-block of Ashland Avenue for a shooting. Police found Doral Hinton, 27, who had been shot in the upper torso.

Police say Hinton was approached by a suspect, who shot him. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

Hinton was taken to Johns Hopkins and pronounced dead.

At 2:22 a.m. Saturday, police were called to the 1900-block of Fulton Avenue.

Police say they found a 32-year-old black man, suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg. He was taken to Sinai and is in serious but stable condition.
