Glen Burnie Home Destroyed In Fire

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say a blaze has destroyed a house in Glen Burnie and displaced its two residents. No one was injured.

The fire broke out about 7:20 p.m. Monday on Crestpark Drive. Officials say firefighters found heavy flames through the roof.

The Capital of Annapolis reports the fire was brought under control about 8:10 p.m. The house and its contents were destroyed; damage was estimated at more than $250,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
