2 Men Arrested In Rape Near Metro Station

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — Greenbelt police have arrested two 18-year-old men in the rape of a woman near a Metro station last month.

Authorities say K’Vaughn Brandon Hines of the District of Columbia and Sheldon Snead were charged with first-degree rape and other offenses in the Dec. 17 attack near the Greenbelt Metro station. They were being held without bond at the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.

Police say the men are accused of forcing the 24-year-old victim into the woods in the 6000-block of Cherrywood Lane and raping her.

Authorities say the woman was able to call for help after the attack. She suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries.

They need to lock them up with men who have been in jail for 20 years with no sex. Then throw them in the shower with a big bottle of crisco oil. Then let them see what it feels like to be raped. I believe anyone who rapes someone should be sent to prison for 20 yrs and if they are able to make it cut there genitals off before releasing them. Why should they have the chance to have sex again when there victem sometimes can never again enjoy it because of the horrible memorysthat come back while they are having sex.

Thank you Larry G. for correcting Spiegel. People need to read before spouting off about a topic that they do not have the facts on.
