BLOG: Warmer Temperatures But Wet Weather Ahead Next 2 Days

Despite the sunshine Sunday, we only made it up to 34 degrees in the afternoon. It really does make such a difference, doesn't it? This cold air mass will be short lived, but will drop temperatures into the teens Monday morning before it leaves us.

The next storm moving our way will have a push of milder air with it. Highs go back up to near 40 degrees Monday and near 50 degrees on Tuesday. Sunshine will give way to clouds during the day, followed by rain Monday night and Tuesday. The rain could be heavy at times during the day Tuesday. When the storm leaves us on Wednesday, it will drag another shot of Arctic air our way for the end of the week. Highs will drop back into the 30s Thursday and Friday. At the same time, a weaker little storm passing by could bring us some mixed rain and snow showers Thursday and Friday as it passes by.

Even though it will feel like winter at times this week, a warm up is moving our way next weekend.
