Arizona Man Charged With Stalking Md. Woman
BALTIMORE (AP) -- An Arizona man has been indicted on charges of stalking a woman in Maryland.
David Charles Richards, 49, of Phoenix was indicted Tuesday in Maryland.
According to the indictment, Richards was divorced from the woman and had no contact with her for 15 years. Prosecutors say in July 2006 and for each year thereafter, she was granted protective orders barring Richards from contacting her.
Authorities say Richards created websites in the victim's name, and threatened and harassed her through email, U.S. mail, telephone and the Internet.
