UNION BRIDGE, Md. (WJZ)–Â Authorities are at the scene of a standoff in Carroll County.
Around 5:45 p.m. , police arrived at a home in the 1400-block of Marble Quarry Road in Union Bridge to arrest a man. But Robert Mellena, 31, is refusing to come out.
Mellena is currently inside the home with his grandmother.
At this time, it is not being classified as a hostage situation.
Police do not know if Mellena is armed.
No shots have been fired and police are working to get Mellena to come out.
