Warrant Out For Third Suspect In Activist's Death

PALMER PARK, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say a warrant has been issued for a third suspect in the death of a northern Virginia community activist whose body was dumped into a well.

Police said Monday night that a warrant had been obtained for Tyrone Lewis, 26, of Temple Hills in connection with the death of Lenny Harris, 53, of Alexandria, Va. Authorities say Lewis is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center in Virginia on unrelated charges.

Police have already announced the arrests of Linwood Johnson, 49, and Ivan Newman, 20.

Police say Harris was shot in the head, and his body was found in a Fort Washington well. Harris had been missing since September.
