Man Gets Life Sentence In Hospital Killing
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- A former worker at Suburban Hospital in Montgomery County has been sentenced to life without the chance of parole in the stabbing death of his supervisor.
Keith Little, 50, was sentenced Monday in Montgomery County Circuit Court. Little was convicted in December in the killing of Roosevelt Brockington Jr., 40, on New Year's Day 2011. Brockington, an engineer responsible for heating and cooling in the building, was found in a basement office with more than 70 stab wounds.
Prosecutors said that Little was angry at Brockington over a scheduling change and a poor performance review.
During Monday's hearing, Little continued to profess his innocence. He said he had been railroaded by authorities and would appeal.
