BLOG: Nothing This Time
The BWI metro area will dodge yet another snow bullet. Looking ahead ..... here are our players for the upcoming week's weather: Sunday: Big storm passes south .. only brings some clouds ..temps cooler than Saturday but still above normal
Sunday night: Clearing and turning breezy. A nip in the air compared to many nights this winter as a strong pressure difference between the departing storm and Canadian high pressure crossing the Great Lakes promotes gusts of 20-25 mph.
Monday: Brisk morning winds diminish in afternoon. Sunny and seasonably cool.
Tuesday: High pressure exits east off Northeast Coast promoting a return flow of milder air from the south. Sunshine then some p.m. clouds as a moisture-starved weak cold front approaches from the Lakes and Ohio Valley. Showers may arrive late in the day or at night.
