Police Investigate Apparent Homicide In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police say they are investigating an apparent homicide in Wicomico County.

Police say they were called to the 700-block of Olivia Street in Salisbury about 6:30 p.m. Monday for a report of shots fired.

Authorities say officers found Elmer Charles Duffy Jr., 54, of Salisbury with apparent gunshot wounds inside a 1991 white Oldsmobile convertible parked along the road.

Duffy was pronounced dead at the scene.

A cash reward is being offered by Crime Solvers of the Eastern Shore for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
