ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A co-chairman of Newt Gingrich’s campaign in Maryland says the Republican presidential candidate will visit Annapolis next week.
Delegate Warren Miller, a Howard County Republican, said Thursday that Gingrich plans to visit the Maryland State House and meet with business owners on Main Street.
Miller says the visit is scheduled for Tuesday, a week before Maryland’s GOP primary on April 3.
Maryland is drawing more attention than usual in the Republican presidential primary. Mitt Romney held a town hall event in Arbutus on Wednesday.
