Quick Hits: NCAA, O's Vs. Pirates, Bert Sugar

Sixty-eight teams entered the NCAA Tournament, and now there are only four left standing as Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas and Ohio State will try to get two more wins and a national title. This Saturday is the national semi-final and Monday will be the national championship.

The Orioles face the Pirates Monday under the lights in Bradenton, Fla. Tommy Hunter will make his second start of the spring as he tries to solidify a spot in the Oriole rotation. Erik Bedard starts for the Pirates. Opening Day for the Orioles is just 12 days away.

In the NBA, the Knicks will try and get back to .500 as well put some more distance between themselves and the Milwaukee Bucks. The two teams are separated by a game and a half in the standings with the Knicks holding the 8th and final playoff spot. Tip-off against the Bucks at the Garden is at 7:30 p.m.

And famed boxing writer Bert Sugar died over the weekend at the age of 75. Sugar was most known for his fedora and cigar. He wrote more than 80 books on the sport and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2005.
