Baltimore Catholic School To Honor Cosby Couple

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Catholic school in Baltimore is naming its community center in honor of actor Bill Cosby and his wife, the
biggest donors in the school's 184-year history.

The Baltimore Sun reports the Cosbys donated $2 million to St. Frances Academy in 2005 to support its scholarship program. On April 20 the school will host the couple for a ceremony to name the community center, which opened 10 years ago.

The school serves approximately 160 mostly low-income high school students. It was founded by Mother Mary Elizabeth Lange, who
established the Oblate Sisters of Providence in Baltimore more than 180 years ago. Camille Cosby attended a now-closed school in Washington, also founded by the Oblate Sisters.
