3 Injured After Suspected Stolen Vehicle Crashes Into Police Cars On Route 3

CROFTON, Md. (WJZ)– Three people were transported to the hospital after a stolen vehicle crashed into police cars on Route 3 between Cronson Boulevard and Route 450.

Anne Arundel County police say that around 11 a.m. on Thursday, officers were following a white Toyota Camry that was linked to a Glen Burnie robbery when the car crashed into two police cars while trying to flee.

Route 3 was closed for sometime but has since been reopened.

Derrick Lanham, 45, was charged with the robbery and numerous related offenses.
