Baltimore Ravens

It’s the rubber match between the Orioles and Yankees at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx Wednesday night. The Birds haven’t won a season series against the Yankees since 1997. Jake Arrieta goes against Ivan Nova. Baltimore Baseball Tonight starts at 6 p.m. on the Fan. First pitch at the ballpark in the Bronx is 7:05 p.m.

The Washington Capitals can take a 2-1 series advantage as the venue shifts back to the Verizon Center in the nation’s capital. The Caps split the first two games of their quarterfinal match-up with the Bruins and went on to win that series in 7 games. Face-off is at 7:30 p.m. And in the western conference, the series shifts back to Nashville for game 3 with the Predators in an 0-2 hole against the Phoenix Coyotes.

In the NBA, the top seeded Spurs host the Jazz for game 2 with San Antonio leading 1-nothing in the series. The Orlando Magic return home for game 3 with the Pacers with the series knotted at 1. The Grizzlies try to rebound from their game 1 collapse against the Clippers with game 2 Wednesday evening.

In the NFL, in a classy gesture, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Eric LeGrand. LeGrand, who played at Rutgers for Greg Schiano, who is now the coach of the Bucs, suffered a spinal cord injury over 18 months ago that ended his football career.
