Jeremy Conn: MASN Cup
So the Orioles are heading to D.C. for a 3 game set. The Orioles are coming off of a 2 game sweep of the Royals and they have won 7 consecutive road games.
I believe for years that MASN has been trying to force this rivalry down our throat, but with both teams having success this year, I'm actually very intrigued by the match up. The Orioles have the best bullpen in baseball and have hit more home runs than any team. The Nationals have the best starting pitching in baseball along with a few of the best prospects.
On Friday night it will be Arrieta taking on Jackson, Saturday we will see Hammel Vs Detwiler and on Sunday Strasburg will be facing Chen. Hopefully the Orioles are able to take 2 out of 3, but either way you have to be thrilled to be on Orioles fan at this point.
Lets just hope they keep it up and that we are playing meaningful games in August and September.
