Jerry Coleman: Harbaugh & Flacco Talk At Ravens OTA's

The Ravens conducted their first full organized team activity (OTA) workout at the Castle this week - however, most of the veteran players were not there. Among the absent; Ray Lewis, Ray Rice, Ed Reed, Matt Birk and of course the injured Terrell Suggs.  That does not concern Coach Harbaugh at all and he is not worried about the players conditioning. He said that "they are working out hard."

The bottom line is when you have a player on your team who has been in this league for multiple years they know what they have to do and know what is expected of them. VIDEO OF COACH HARBAUGH.

One leader who was present was Quarterback Joe Flacco. He said it's definitely important for the "young players" to be around, so they can grow as an athlete. Also Flacco's presence at camp means a lot to the team. Flacco can help guide some of the rookies and make the transition process smoother for them.

All in all, it was a productive day for the players who were there. The Rookies and Veterans alike are working hard and looking forward to the upcoming season and improving their skills. With it being about a month away from training camp, Flacco claims he will not think about his contract- instead putting his teammates first. By the way, Joe Flacco's wife Dana is due to have the couple's first child in three weeks or so. ..JOE FLACCO VIDEO HERE
