Harford County Boy Dies After Accidental Shooting

PYLESVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — An 11-year-old boy was accidentally shot by his younger brother in Harford County.

Police say the boys were playing in the woods in Pylesville, when it happened. The victim died just a short time later.

At first, police suspected a random shooter. But investigators found a handgun hidden near the scene, and later determined that the shooting was an accident.

So far, no charges have been filed. But police are looking for the owner of the gun.
