8-Year-Old Injured After Struck By Car In Parkville

PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ)— A child is struck by a car in Parkville.

It happened Monday afternoon at Redwood Avenue and Water Oak Road.

Police say the 8-year-old boy rode his bike through a stop sign before he was hit.

He was transported to Johns Hopkins.  He suffered serious injuries, but is expected to be OK.
