BWI Begins $100M Project To Upgrade Terminal
LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) -- A $100 million project to upgrade of the oldest portion of Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is underway.
The work will allow passengers to move between concourses A, B and C without passing through security again.
The project will also add a connector to provide passengers access between the 14 gates at concourse C with the 26 gates at concourses A and B.
In addition, about 8,500 square feet of new food and retail space will be added to concourse C.
The work is scheduled to be completed by summer 2013.
