It seems that everyone has a specific reason as to why the Heat are up 3 games to 1 over the Thunder.  Here are some of my favorites: the referees are for LeBron and the Heat. The Thunder are too you and inexperienced. The NBA is fixed.  Some more reasonable ones are:  Russell Westbrook takes too many shots.  James Harden disappeared in the Finals and head coach Scott Brooks made too many poor decisions.  File all of the above under excuses and file the following sentence under the sole reason that the Heat are on the verge of an NBA Championship:

The Heat are just plain better.

It’s not that hard to figure out.  The Heat are better than the Thunder.  They have better players.  They play better defense.  They have LeBron James.  And that just may be the biggest difference.

Time to pony up and give credit to a guy who finally deserves it.  I have been critical of LeBron at times, but I have nothing to say anymore.  It’s only a matter of time before he is holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy and we all have nothing else to say.  Except of course, for those haters who are gonna hate because it’s what they do … just like those same excuses listed above.
