Man Barricades Himself In Home, Arrested For Indecent Exposure

SEVERNA PARK, Md. (WJZ)—  A Severna Park man was arrested after he was spotted naked in public on Friday morning.

Officers responded to the 60 block unit of Robinson Landing at around 10:42 a.m. after reports of an indecent exposure.

Witnesses say they saw the man without any clothing on, acting irrationally and igniting an unknown substance in the street.

When officers arrived, he fled on foot and barricaded himself in his home.

Negotiators were able to talk to the man via telephone until he agreed to leave through the front door of his home.

He was then taken into custody and transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for evaluation.

Residents in the surrounding area were asked to stay in their homes during the barricade.
