2 Large Fires Break Out In Baltimore County
RANDALLSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County fire officials are investigating the cause of two large fires, including one that did extensive damage to two apartment buildings in Randallstown.
Both fires went to two alarms. No one was injured in either blaze.
The apartment building fire broke out shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a three-story complex on Glen Michael Lane. The fire spread to an adjacent building, and 24 units were damaged. It took nearly two hours to bring the fires under control.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to the scene of a fire in a vacant house near Fort Howard in the Dundalk area. That fire spread into a wooded area and took more than an hour and a half into control.
