Man Convicted Of Having Sex With 15-Year-Old
La PLATA, Md. (AP) -- A Waldorf man has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for having sex with a 15-year-old relative.
Clayton Calvin Griffin Jr., 43, was convicted in May of sexual child abuse and other offenses. He was sentenced on Tuesday.
Evidence presented a trial indicated Griffin sent text messages to the victim about sex and contraception, and told her to delete those messages.
Griffin, through his lawyer, maintained he was innocent at sentencing.
