WASHINGTON (AP) — Montgomery County’s Ride On bus system is operating on a reduced schedule following a bus fire last week.
The county says there will be service reductions on Monday and Tuesday, but that the system should be back to normal on Wednesday.
County Executive Isiah Leggett pulled more than two dozen buses from the system because of safety concerns after the fire. It was the seventh Ride On bus fire in three years.
The county is replacing the buses, which is expected to take until the end of August.
