Jim Palmer, Orioles Hall of Famer, joined the Scott Garceau Show to talk about the Orioles and their playoff hopes. Jim talked about their pitching and how they have been so successful. Palmer also discussed the pitching style of Miguel Gonzalez and how he has been so effective against opposing hitters.
Jim also discussed the early success of Manny Machado and brought up what its like to be a rookie. He talked about Brian Matusz and even said that he didn’t believe Matusz wanted to be coached. He also talked about the hot streak Mark Reynolds has been on with his bat. He also said he has a had a bunch of plays a first that have been game changers.
