Bus Hits House In Montgomery County

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County officials say a Ride On bus has crashed into house in Silver Spring, but no serious injuries have been reported.

Officials say they were called to the scene in the 9400-block of Avenel Road about 10:50 a.m. Monday.

Rebecca Innocenti, a county police spokeswoman, says some of the 10 to 15 people on the bus suffered minor injuries.

Two people inside the home at the time of the accident were not injured.

The incident is under investigation.
