The NFL better get things worked out with the refs soon. With each passing game, you can see the issue with the refs. Not their fault, just their lack of experience.

I spoke with a Ravens source high in the pecking order who told me they need to get it fixed….soon!

The issues however are significant. The NFL wants some full-time refs, to add some crews and to alter the pension plan. The refs don’t like any of those because it cuts into their pockets. #3 might be a money issue, but the other two, I agree with the NFL. That will lead to better officiating.

I think both sides are pretty entrenched, and one side will really have to cave.
