BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Baltimore police have released the identity of the suspect involved in a shooting with the police.
Charges are pending against Oba Mitchiner, 27, who lives in the 2400-block of Maisel Street where the shooting took place.
Police say they responded to the neighborhood in South Baltimore after receiving reports of Mitchiner shooting at a nearby house, and that when they approached him, he began shooting at them.
Police say they then opened fire at Mitchiner. He is recovering from gunshot wounds to his leg.
