All of our “weather” will take place in the today into tonight time period as the front approaches the area today, then moves through early tonight. Some storms could be severe with damaging winds and drenching ownpours. Behind the main band of storms will be a spotty shower or two lingering early tonight. The rest of the night will be dry and a cooler with humidity coming down. The southerly breeze that picks up today with clouds and occasional sun will change to northwest with the front tonight, and a northwest breeze will bring pleasant, dry air across the area tomorrow with intervals of sunshine and low humidity. There is a second piece of energy coming into the trough and deepening later tomorrow, but it will not have enough moisture to produce any wet weather for us, but up into central pa and western MD that is a possibility.
This second piece of energy will be followed by high pressure building slowly eastward will set us up for some comfortable days and nights Monday through Wednesday with plenty of sunshine each day. The high will gradually sink to the south and the heights rise leading to some warming mid and late week, but humidity will stay down.
