Man Reported Shot After Towson University Homecoming
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County police say a man reported being shot as several fights broke out following Towson University's homecoming.
Lt. Robert McCullough, a police spokesman, tells The Baltimore Sun that the victim approached an officer near Towson Circle and said he'd been shot. He was taken to a hospital. Police did not say whether the victim was a Towson student.
McCullough says a fraternity invited some people who were not students to a party at the Recher Theatre on York Road Saturday night. He says police received several calls about fighting, and six people were arrested. Those arrests were not related to the reported shooting.
