Man Charged With Setting Fires In Former Home
SHARPSBURG, Md. (AP) -- State fire officials say a 50-year-old man has been charged with setting fires in a home he was evicted from. A firefighter was injured in the blaze.
Max Eugene Godlove is charged with arson and other offenses.
The State Fire Marshal's Office say the fire was reported about 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Sharpsburg. About 45 firefighters battled the blaze for 90 minutes before bringing it under control.
One firefighter was taken to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center for burns to his face and eyes.
