Williams’ classic play follow the struggles of a Depression-era St. Louis family- consisting of a tortured artist, his overbearing mother and his delicate, disturbed sister- and their efforts to find the meaning and direction for their lives. Full of poetry and pathos, The Glass Menagerie is one if the most celebrated plays of the American Theater, and is as touching as when it premiered 67 years ago.
