WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) — Maryland State Police are investigating skeletal remains found by a path in a vacant lot.
Officials say a human bone was found by people walking in the 500-block of Baltimore Boulevard around noon on Saturday. They immediately called 911.
A preliminary investigation found additional skeletal remains. It is believed that the remains belong to a man, and police are checking missing person files for a potential match.
Forensic tests are underway.
