WEATHER BLOG: Chill Continues--For Now

Even though we got out of the 50s Tuesday, we only managed a high of 61 degrees. That's still way below the average which dropped to 69 degrees. We are going to warm up closer to 70 degrees Wednesday, before a cold front goes through and drops us back down to the low 60s again on Thursday. However, this transition will feature the return of sunshine.

Warmer air will move in Wednesday, despite a lot of clouds once again. There will even be another round of spotty morning rain and drizzle. However, the northeasterly wind will swing around to the southwest, bringing in that warmer air. The southwesterly winds are ahead of a new cold front. It will push through Wednesday night, bringing in drier air and changing up this weather pattern. Expect sunshine to return Thursday.

Another, very weak front will come through on Friday. Some clouds will pass by with the front, but that's about it. Dry air should hang on for the weekend before a stronger storm moves our way early next week.
